Experience the elaboration of cazabe, the Taíno dish made from cassava (mandioca) with the same methods used by the indigenous peoples.

Experience the elaboration of Bacán (banana), Tulanga (yucca)and Frangollo (plantain), Taíno dishes made from Mandioca and banana, using the same methods as the indigenous peoples.

Experience a fabulous visit to the Alta Gracia Cave, a grotto showing evidence of the original peoples and majestic cave drawings of Taíno Art - a natural museum.

SATURDAY
Learn to dance the Cuban Areito, an indigenous dance performed in a Ceremonial Plaza in Boma.

SUNDAY FROM 2 PM
Hear a talk on archaeology and speleology of the historic regions of Baracoa, given by specialist Roberto Ordúñez Fernández in the Museum of Baracoa’s Archaeology Office.
